Lou and Will got married in Chipping Campden and celebrated at Lapstone Barn, an 18th century converted barn and one of the best wedding venues in the Cotswolds!
Two of the sweetest people. Genuine and warm and kind. From only spending a few minutes in their company it’s obvious Lou and Will’s relationship is deeply rooted in friendship and that their families mean the world to them.
There was an important sense of family that brought so much warmth and love to this wedding day.
Sometimes it’s in the little details like Will wearing his Grandfather’s cufflinks and Lou wearing her Grandmother’s ring around her neck.
Or it’s in moments like Lou’s dad seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time and failing to hold back the tears.
Or it’s in the sometimes underestimated and special roles throughout the wedding day like Will’s sister and her husband singing during the signing of the register.
Or it’s in the heartfelt, kind words given by candlelight and simple moments of spontaneous “just because” types of hugs and subtle looks of pride and love as the day unfolds.
All of these moments add to the story and legacy of Lou and Will and I will never stop shaking my head in disbelief that I get to capture them forever.
Lou and Will, thank you for inviting me in with open arms to capture your wedding day at Lapstone Barn. It’s always bittersweet coming to this point but I’m so excited for the adventure you are embarking on together! Big love and hugs!!
