September 7, 2018
Back in June, I had the privilege of once again photographing the Loss Foundation’s charity comedy night at Union Chapel in London. When they contacted me about coming back for their 2018 comedy night, I didn’t hesitate for one second to say YES. And that’s not just because one of my favorite comedians, James Acaster, was in the lineup. ;)
Erin, Clair and the team at The Loss Foundation are some of the most genuine, committed, loving and serving people I have ever had the joy of working with. They are real people, with real big hearts and dedicate so much of themselves to supporting those who are grieving from losing a loved one to cancer.
Their annual comedy nights are put on to raise money for the charity. “The event has been praised as the comedy night of the year and also been Time Out’s recommended event.” That’s pretty cool! I feel privileged to have been a part of it. See a few of my favorite photographs from the night below!
If you have lost a loved one to cancer and are looking for support, please don’t wait to contact The Loss Foundation by email: info@thelossfoundation.org or phone: 0300 200 4112
If you feel prompted to donate to The Loss Foundation, you can do so here. Details of their 2019 comedy night are TBC. You can give there too. :)
