A 2018 goal is to bring my camera more places! I know that sounds silly for a photographer to say, but I’ve found that because my work involves a camera that when I am in rest mode the last thing I want to do is pick up a camera. But on the other hand, I know that I need to creatively challenge myself and continue to find enjoyment in photographing life just because. So I’m making a start with a recent hike in Malham Cove.
In February, Joel and I drove up to Lancashire with a bunch of friends for a fun weekend away. If you ask me, the perfect weekend is spent surrounded by friends, eating lots of good food and drinking more tea than is humanly possible (seriously we could enter a tea drinking competition… say what now?!) getting outdoors and exploring beautiful landscapes and, just for good measure, let’s chillax in a hot tub. HECK YEAH we did exactly that.
Here are a few snaps from our (very, very cold) walk in Malham Cove located in the Yorkshire Dales. The snow bit our noses and our shoes were covered in mud but it was 100% worth it!
