Teenage sweethearts. 8 years and counting. These two are adorably head over heels for one other and can FINALLY call each other husband and wife!!
Ellyse and Miles said their ‘I Do’s’ in one of the Cotswolds best wedding venues, Cripps Stone Barn. The ceremony was held in the venue’s cozy stone barn beautifully decorated in earthy greenery. Not to mention the open fireplace at the alter that brings a certain warmth to the room- literally and metaphorically.
Thankfully the sun was shining for the recessional and Ellyse and Miles were able to enjoy glasses of Pimm’s on the grounds and soak in the reality of the forever promise they just made to each other. However, the sky was tempting us with rain BUT it played to our advantage. Just keep scrolling to see that dark looming sky contrasting the sun- wow!!
This wedding was filled to the brim with carefree joy and the kind of emotion that is transmissible. Nothing was staged or forced. It was the type of wedding where you could take your heels off as soon as the ceremony ended. You could let your hair down, you could wrap up with your other half by the outdoor fire pit. You could drink too much, laugh too hard and even run barefoot in the rain with your muddy soaked dress trailing behind you and not have a care in the world.
Ellyse wore a bracelet to mark their 8th anniversary that was engraved with, “Miles, I am still so in love with you.”
Family are the most important thing to Miles and Ellyse, so I loved capturing these special moments with Ellyse’s grandmother and her little brother…
OMG. Give me woodfire pizza any day. I’m pretty sure I had about 8 slices and I’m not even ashamed.
I feel so grateful to have couples like these two. The entire process, from their first email to delivering their final wedding photographs, was so enjoyable and I can only wait in anticipation to see where their next adventure takes them…. I hear Australia is on the horizon. ;)

Shout out to these wedding vendors!
