We’re both delighted with the photos and couldn’t be happier with the turnaround on them. We’ve been looking through and there are a lot of really beautiful and well thought out shots – I could only dream of taking photos like these. It was a pleasure to have you photograph our wedding and we will continue to recommend you to all of our friends and family. All the best to you and yours and thanks again for beautifully capturing our day.” – Marcus & Charlotte
Within one year I have had the pleasure of photographing two weddings from the same family! In October I photographed Melanie’s wedding in Coventry and Baginton Village Hall and just the other week I photographed her sister Charlotte’s wedding at Hampton Manor Hotel in Solihull!
Charlotte arrived at Coventry’s Registry Office in a Jaguar XJL to meet her groom as friends and family members looked on with big smiles and cameras at the ready! With class and style, Charlotte surprised us all wearing a floor length, mint green, lace wedding gown! The dress suited her to perfection and looked even more glamorous with her hand tied bouquet of yellow roses courtesy of Statham Flowers.
Marcus and Charlotte had a private wedding ceremony in the registry office which was followed by a confetti exit in the courtyard. After a few celebratory photos of the newlyweds, we made our way to Hampton in Arden in Solihull to Hampton Manor for drinks and canapés…
Charlotte’s long sleeve gown was simply stunning! I especially loved the open lace back and detail on the bodice.
The groom’s navy blue suit and mint green tie matched his bride perfectly. Marcus’ succulent and rose bud boutonniere was also quite suave!
Marcus and Charlotte arranged for all of their wedding guests to enjoy afternoon tea in one of the Hampton’s finest tea rooms, The Library. To match the interior of The Library, brass glass boxes encased vintage books, ornament balls of moss wrapped in twine and succulents- I can’t get enough!
On each of the tables were potted plants, love notes and display glass boxes to match the others dotted about the room.
Freshly made cheese and fruit scones, cakes, quiches, and sandwiches plus milkshakes served in individual glass bottles with red striped paper straws and chocolate cookies?! Hampton Manor does not disappoint!
Following a delicious afternoon tea, the bride and groom and their guests enjoyed speeches given by the father of the bride, best man and the groom himself. As Marcus and Charlotte booked a custom collection with me, I finished taking photos just after their tea. I entrust they had a lovely rest of their time celebrating together with loved ones. :)
Congratulations once again to this wonderful couple! It was a privilege to be your wedding photographer Marcus and Charlotte and I’m so happy to hear you love your photos! All the very best you both on your next adventure together… in France!
