In March, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing alongside Charlotte of Electric Blue Photography & Film for Luke and Emma’s wedding at The Kings Hotel in Gloucestershire! As well as documenting emotional and candid moments throughout the day, I had the chance to video significant aspects of the day including the groom and ushers finishing the last touches of their suits, the dinner room being decorated by the staff at Kings Hotel and some hilarious dance moves later in the evening! I had so much fun working on this wedding with Charlotte and the bride and groom couldn’t have been more relaxed, welcoming and all around lovely! Check out Luke and Emma’s wedding highlight video here and enjoy a few photos below of the stunning reception decor below!
A kind word from the bride…
This is lovely Hannah, and thank you so much for being such a big part of our day. The photos you took are amazing!!
This bride and groom were lucky to find a wedding venue so full of character in their Cotswolds home with a bar area as cosy as this one!
Pomegranate bubbly was served upon arrival of the wedding guests in glass Mason jars with striped paper party straws…
Let’s not forget the abundance of choice champagne!
Luke and Emma’s dinner room was the perfect mix of elegance and English country character!
A chalkboard effect wedding cake detailed with only the sweetest love story…
Endless decorative jars of white tulips, baby’s-breath, daisies and other spring cuts on candle-lit tables lined with burlap gave a fairytale feel to the entire room. The bride was awestruck as soon as she walked in!
Scones in a jar doubling as edible wedding favours for the evening guests?! What a great idea!
A mini chalkboard easel place card and a white wooden chair for every guest…
Luke and Emma, I couldn’t be happier to have photographed your special day. All the best to you both on your journey together!
