A story of a deep-rooted friendship that started 8 years ago brought us to Melanie and James’ wedding ceremony at the Coventry Register Office this past October. Melanie’s sister was the first to contact me asking if I was available for her sister Melanie’s wedding. I got a phone call the next day from someone else asking about my availability for the same date and location and also for a bride named Melanie. Turns out Melanie and her sister have the same taste in photography and both contacted me on separate days for the same wedding!
When I met Mel and James on their wedding day, I could instantly tell there was a deep understanding and solid foundation of loyalty and love between them. James is the spontaneous, wild kind and Melanie is the gracious and reassuring hand that makes them the perfect pair. They know each other well and now, they have their whole lives to know each other even more truly.
Melanie and James asked their brother and sister and closest friends to stand by their side as they made their vows to one another…
The newlyweds had a grand confetti exit after making their marriage official at the Coventry Register Office!
While guests made their way to the reception at Baginton Village Hall, I had a few minutes with the bride and groom to take their photos outside the register office!
When Melanie and James sent out their wedding invitations, they gave each of their guests a packet of pumpkin seeds. They asked their wedding guests to plant the seeds and when pumpkins grew, to decorate one of the pumpkins for the wedding day!
The centrepieces were festive fall florals in vases made out of pumpkins. An ordinary village hall in Baginton was made spectacular by the creative hands of Melanie and #TeamBride!
