Wow! Thank you SO much for the obvious hard work and hours you have put into perfecting our wedding photos! We adore them. I really love the beach photos – there are so many that capture the joy that we felt. The sunset jetty ones too, wowza! Hannah, you are just fab : D thank you for making our dreams come true and giving us the best wedding pictures. Sorry for the cheese, but it’s all true… Keep doing what you’re doing!
– Laura & Ben
On this breezy September day, I met Laura and her bridesmaids at her parents house in Prescott. I photographed the general happenings of the morning and captured the small yet significant details in between. Laura was particularly excited about her wedding dress (what bride isn’t??). She bought her gown at Eternal Bride in Warwick, designed by Sophia Tolli. A beautiful saturn, A-Line gown with a lace hem and cathedral train… it couldn’t have suited Laura more perfectly!
Laura and Ben had planned about 30 minutes into their schedule to allow me time to photograph the groom prep. The chosen attire for the men were dashing, grey spirit coloured kilts. Ben is half Scottish (though Laura says he’s 100% scouse! ;) so being very proud of his heritage wanted to incorporate that special history into their wedding day.
Ben, being an upcoming graphic designer, put his skills into designing the wedding invitations, save the dates and order of services. He took well-deserved pride in designing the logo for the wedding day and it was put on all of the guests favours which really tied everything together in a very stylish way! Check out Ben’s graphic design brand, Monkey Beard, for yourself!
Laura was my source for all of these great details! It’s clear how proud she is of Ben and how much she adores talking about him. These two are a perfect match for each other- there is no doubt about that! They are hilarious, genuine, caring people who evidently love their family and friends and Jesus. Their wedding day was an incredible celebration to be a part of and one I will never forget!
So much love and happiness to you, Laura and Ben! Thank you for allowing me to document your first day as husband and wife.
Love,
Hannah

“I think we both dream of owning a caravan of some sort one day and just living in beauty somewhere. We stayed in our rental VW camper for one night the day after the wedding, which was so fun!” – Laura
