They were high school sweethearts, they went to college together in Coventry and endured a long distance relationship during university after. They were committed to each other from day one and when the time was right to move forward in marriage, there was no holding back.
Adam and Charis… what to say. There is more to you than what meets the eye. You are funny, endearing and kind. You are sincere and genuine and all around lovely. I am blessed to have been your wedding photographer, but also to have been your friend over the past 5 years. Your relationship is nothing short of inspirational and a story of dedication, loyalty and never-ending love!
Every bride is happy on the morning of her wedding, but Charis was an exceptional sort of happy. ;) She never stopped smiling and it made sense to see her jumping around, every once in a while letting out a squeal of excitement! It had been a long time coming, their wedding day, and it was only right to jump around and squeal in excitement with her!
They wedded in their home city, Coventry, at CLM- Christian Life Ministries church. Their heart for their wedding day was evident from the start- they valued having their loved ones around them more than anything else. So, yes, every seat in the church was filled (even more chairs had to be added to the back as guests kept arriving!) and every mouth was fed at their afternoon wedding breakfast at Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
The day was flawless. The sun shone over the golf course and marquee, we toasted and dined and laughed during the speeches. The function band, Stuck in the Groove, kept the dance floor packed and we danced late into the night- they even got ME up and dancing until way past my bedtime! ;)
It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for this fantastic couple. Enjoy a small glimpse into their wedding here…! <3
This bride is also an incredibly talented embroiderer and seamstress. She handmade all of her bridesmaid’s jewelry!
Her something blue…
It was all smiles and gasps when the bridesmaids saw the bride!
The most phenomenal cake (or should I say, CAKES!) baked by the bride’s sister!
Adam’s heart was nearly beating out of his chest in anticipation of his bride walking down the aisle…!
Prayers were said over the newlyweds by their church family…
Time for tea and cake – all the goodies cooked by Charis’ sisters! I can say firsthand, they were delicious. ;)
Adam and Charis were so excited when they heard the band sound checking S Club 7 that they couldn’t help but dance on the golf course!
Nothing explains their joy quite so well as this photo… ;)
Married at last…!
Adam, having studied vocals for 4 years, took the stage and belted out a few of his favorite tracks to end the night!
