On an early Friday afternoon, friends and family met together in Queen’s Road Baptist Church, Coventry for the wedding ceremony of Jason and Nicole. As the father of the bride walked his beloved daughter down the church aisle, Jason couldn’t help but grin ear to ear. Songs of praise and hymns were sung, prayers prayed and loving glances given between the bride and groom and their loved ones. Evident happiness filled the room as Jason and Nicole pledged themselves to one another, to be by each other’s side in sickness and in health, in richness and in poverty. It was a beautiful moment to witness.
The rest of the day was a mirror-reflection of Jason and Nicole. It was intimate, genuine, relaxed, and lovely in every way. We proceeded to their reception venue – Ambleside Community Sports Club in Nuneaton – for photographs on the cricket pitch which was soon followed by a Disney themed afternoon tea!
One of my favourite aspects about the wedding was how much creativity Nicole put into the reception room! I was like a child in a fairytale land photographing every Disney-inspired detail that I know Nicole put hours of work into creating! Her work surely paid off!
With delicious sandwiches, cakes and drink the afternoon proceeded with heartfelt speeches where both tears and uncontrollable laughter warmed the room. And if it wasn’t a sweet enough day in itself, Jason surprised Nicole by performing a cover of Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. I already knew Jason had an incredible singing voice, but I didn’t realise until later that he had also been taking guitar lessons just for this special moment on their wedding day!
I am so happy to have been a part of Jason and Nicole’s wedding day in this small way. I wish you both the absolute best on your journey together and I am so excited to see where this road takes you.
Love,
Hannah
