“THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH HANNAH!!!!!!! We just looked at all of the photos and they are absolutely PERFECT. We love, love, love them!!!! So many times we would get to the next photo and say, ‘Woaaah!!’. Thank you so much, we have about 50 favourites – there are so many! Incredible photos, thank you!!!” – Adam and Vicky Haycock
I know I say this a lot, but HONESTLY it was SUCH a privilege to photograph the wedding of my dear friends, Adam and Vicky. They are hilarious and fun and completely individual. When they booked my half-day wedding photography package, I knew it was bound to be a memorable wedding. Sure enough, it was FILLED to the brim with love, laughter, joy and celebration!
The day itself was one of the few warm days we had in April. The sun was out and it made for a wonderful bbq and drinks reception outside the venue. We filled our bellies with pulled pork and sweet potato fries, laughed our heads off at the groom and best men speeches and spent the rest of the night catching up with old friends, making new ones and dancing until our feet hurt. The music was put on by the bride’s own band, SlamFunction (which Joel also plays in!), and an incredible upcoming function band, Digital Swing. The bride, of course, belted out a few of her favourite tracks and the groom made his own appearance on the drums!
So much thought and creativity was put into this wedding. The entire day was personalized and heartfelt – friends and family made the food, the cake, decorated the church and the entire venue, performed music during the ceremony and the evening reception. Such love for Adam and Vicky poured into every aspect of the day.
Adam and Vicky, I know without a doubt that your love is eternal and I’m so grateful to have captured the start of your beautiful marriage.
