Hannah K. recently took photos at our wedding. We were simply overjoyed to get the photos back, they are absolutely stunning, capturing every bit of the day and the fun we had perfectly. Not only did Hannah take some amazing pictures, but she was a joy to work with through the entire process.
From meeting her early in our engagement to the wedding day, Hannah was attentive and continually went the extra mile. On the wedding day, she was incredible, helping my wife with her dress, motivating bridesmaids to get moving and being such an encouragement and support to us both.
We really were so happy with our choice to have Hannah as our photographer. She brings a sense of calm to even the craziest of moments and managed to capture our many photos perfectly, not missing a thing! We have already started recommending her to our friends. Thanks so much, Hannah!” – James
I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people for my first wedding of 2018!! Hannah and James have been a breeeeeze to work with from the very beginning when Hannah said hello to me at a friend’s wedding while juggling an armful of cake tins (I now know this is a pretty common occurrence. ;)) Since then we’ve met in Walsall for their engagement photo shoot which included an autumnal woodland walk and homemade Paella and Sangria at Jame’s house afterward. We’ve shared PLENTY of belly laughs and hilarious texts and kept in touch on Instagram. Finally, we met again on their wedding day in April.
The morning came and went so smoothly and without any sense of stress! Hannah and her bridesmaids enjoyed Bucks Fizz while doing makeup and hair (curlers and all!) in Hannah’s parent’s living room. James got dressed at his parent’s house with his groomsmen. HUGE thank you to Katy for being my second shooter and for doing such a great job capturing groom prep!
Hannah and James chose to get married at their home church, St Matthews in Walsall. The service was a beautiful act of thanks to God through song, prayer over the bride and groom and of course James and Hannah’s vows to honor, love and serve each other for the rest of their lives. All 200+ guests let out a huge cheers and applause when the now husband and wife sealed the deal with a kiss!
Soon after the ceremony, guests arrived at Redhouse Barn in Worcestershire for the wedding reception. The renovated barn was beautifully decorated in simple, modern, light and airy details. I absolutely LOVE modern and minimal decor. I had a field day capturing all the green and white table settings full of foliage and gold detailing. Plus those clear wedding chairs, shiny dinnerware, and Sauvignon Blanc. I know I’m weird… I just love details!
Following bride and groom and family photos, the father of the bride, the groom and three best men gave heartwarming, emotional and hilarious speeches. I wish I could write them all out for you because they were just so good!!
Finally, to finish off the night, Entertainment Nation’s Jam Hot kept the dance floor packed and the groom even made a debut on bass!
Thank you, James and Hannah, once again for having me as your wedding photographer, but most of all, for treating me like a friend and a valued guest. I will always remember your wedding day as one bursting with joy and love and laughter and downright FUN! I feel so lucky to have been a part of it.
