The Perch & Bodleian Library Wedding, Oxford | Jen & Nathan

Our USB just arrived. Your packaging is even better in person! So slick! Love it, love the photos, have literally loved every minute of this journey and gutted that it’s ending.

We first considered you because of the incredible photos you took at Luke and Sharon’s wedding – capturing their love and joy and taking some beautiful photos of what was a pretty dull August day. I am so glad that we were led to you – from the first Skype call you put us both at ease. We have loved every minute of this journey with you! We had so much fun with you at our engagement shoot, being big kids, and we will absolutely treasure the photos. On the wedding day, you were so good with everyone, we had no end of comments about how unobtrusive and lovely you were.

The photos speak for themselves, the way you capture light is just alchemy, and we are absolutely over the moon with the video. Prepare for all the recommendations and see you every anniversary for more fun and amazing photos. All of our love, Jen and Nathan x

What a day this was!! Not only did Jen and Nathan become husband and wife in one of Oxford’s most famous and prestigious locations, The Bodleian Library, ADJACENT to one of the dining rooms they used in Harry Potter (!!) they then sent guests off in a hunter green double-decker bus while they jumped on a riverboat with their bridal party to meet their cheering guests awaiting them at The Perch with confetti!

I think this was the hottest day we had all summer, so the chilled Prosecco and any bit of shade that could be found was much appreciated! Every bit of this day was bursting with love and joy, two of my favorite emotions to capture. Through tearful speeches, romance at golden hour and a dance floor chock full well into the night, it was clear Jen and Nathan have a huge heart for the people around them- and vice versa. This day was nothing short of a momentous celebration.

One highlight of a hot summer day is catching the evening light. I think we were all grateful to have a few bride and groom photos done at The Bodleian Library and on our walk through Oxford city center to the riverboat, but saving the majority of these photos for later in the evening at The Perch when the air was cooler and the light softer. One of my favorite photos is Jen standing beautifully in her unique Made With Love gown. The open back and golden flower pattern were just stunning!

Another one of my favorite aspects of the day was documenting it all with photos AND video! Jen and Nathan booked my highlight video package and I’m so happy they love it so much and have this special way of remembering their day. Included in each highlight video package is a second photographer/ videographer. Huge thanks to Sam for all of his help – couldn’t have done it all without the help!

Be sure to check out Jen and Nathan’s highlight video below and their autumn engagement shoot at Crickley Hill in Gloucestershire here!
