How else to describe this beautifully crisp and sunny day than wonderful and full of so much happiness! Naomi and Chris declared their love for one another in front of God, family, and friends at Westwood Heath Church in Coventry. They worshipped God by giving their attention and thanks to him in song and exchanged their vows at the altar. They were then prayed over as newlyweds by close friends and took a few minutes for communion before leaving the church dancing down the aisle! Their ceremony was a beautiful declaration of thanks to God for all he’s done in their lives and a forever promise of serving, preferring and loving each other for the rest of their lives.
As a nod to Naomi’s heritage, Welsh cakes were served after the wedding as guests mingled outside. Shortly after, I stole the bride and groom away for a few photographs around Stoneleigh village before we made our way to Alveston Pastures Farm where they were greeted by a confetti line! The remainder of the days festivities included a meal by one of the best catering companies I have ever worked with, RD Catering (they served me at the same time as the guests which is unheard of! Thank you RD Catering!) an honesty bar where guests could grab a beer and leave money in a box (love this idea!) and to end the night, one of the biggest ceilidhs I’ve ever seen lead by Tartan Trio!
Naomi and Chris, thank you once again for letting me be a part of one of the best days of your lives! I felt like one of the gang and had so much fun capturing your day as it unfolded. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for you next- together you are unstoppable!
