I honestly can’t put into words how I feel about these photos other than they are simply amazing!! I can’t really believe it! Thank you so much to our wonderful photographer. I can’t begin to tell you how thankful we both are for these wonderful shots! So thank you, thank you, thank you!
It was a warm afternoon in Sorrento, a bucket list stop for Emma and Lee. Sundress, shorts, and sandals were the attire as the air was it’s usual hot for July. Overlooking Naples and Mount Vesuvius, the beauty was overwhelming as was the hospitality of the people and the deliciousness of the Italian cuisine.
On a stroll through the famous courtyard of ‘St. Francis Of Assisi, Lee handed his camera to a stranger passing by and asked for a photo of him and his girlfriend, Emma. As the stranger obliged, Lee took Emma’s hand and to her complete shock dropped to his knee and asked her to be his wife. Through the happiest of tears, she said YES!
How could I even begin to top those moments captured in Italy?! Well, a sunset engagement shoot on the Jurassic Coast will have to do! ;)
This July, we road-tripped down to Dorset to meet Emma and Lee who also traveled some distance to the shoot. The famous limestone arch of Durdle Door and its sandy beaches made it completely worthwhile! Emma and Lee booked Joel as their second photographer for their wedding day so we traveled together. On the hike down to the beach, we realized that Joel and Emma were in the same year at 6th form! What?!
I couldn’t have imagined this shoot to be any more perfect. We had cotton candy skies and a virtually clear beach, hardly a tourist in sight (unheard of)! Emma and Lee brought a picnic blanket, champagne, two outfits and their adventurous and fun-loving personalities. We photographed until the sun went down (otherwise I would have kept going!) and made our way back up the hill in the dark. If this time together was even half as fun as the wedding day, I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself!!!
Scroll down for some of my all time favvvvs!
Attention future couples! I would be more than willing to do more engagements (and weddings!) down Dorset way. Especially at Durdle Door or Lulworth Cove. Do get in touch if you’re interested and we can chat further!
