A LOT has changed in the world since I met up with Tia and Steve for their engagement shoot at St Pancras International (see their e-shoot in London, here)! We certainly didn’t expect their wedding plans would include a micro wedding ceremony months after they were already meant to be husband and wife!
Let me explain…
It’s been over 2 years since Tia and Steve asked me to be their wedding photographer. We’ve sent countless emails between us, had their engagement shoot in London last year and then a pandemic hit only a few days before their wedding this year at Shustoke Barn. Their wedding date was postponed and plans changed with each announcement from the government. Eventually, they decided enough is enough and didn’t want to wait anymore to get married!
Tia and Steve booked their ceremony at Cheylesmore Manor House and chose to have a micro wedding with as many close friends and family members as they could! With distanced seating and all the PPE and hand sanitizer needed, Tia and Steve said their vows in front of 6 family members (and me!). Many more watched live online and a few waited outside to congratulate them. They did it!!! They’re married!
I am so incredibly honored Tia and Steve invited me to document this momentous day. I feel like we’ve been on a rollercoaster together! No doubt I’ll keep sticking with them on this ride until they can finally celebrate with ALL of their loved ones and have a mega party to celebrate their marriage!
