You might recognize Francine and Jamie from their gorgeous destination wedding at Chateau de Jalesnes in France last year. You can see my recap of the day and all the pretty pics here! Well, I’ve been itching to share photos from their Durdle Door engagement shoot and although it’s a bit of a throwback, these are some of my all-time favorite photos!
Francine and Jamie drove all the way from London to Dorset for their engagement shoot. I made the trip from Coventry and we met at Durdle Door an hour or so before sundown. The beach was fairly clear which is a rarity, but was probably due to extremely stormy winds that would make anyone second guess a trip to the beach!
No wind was stopping us though! Francine and Jamie jumped right in their engagement shoot with high energy and being true to themselves and their love for one another- what more could a photographer ask for!
I gave them cues to get them moving and interacting with each other but they didn’t need much more direction than that. They simply had a ton of fun together and that’s what brings so much life to these photos! I almost forget the fact that I was basically shouting at them the entire time so they could hear me over the wind!!
Enjoy and few of my favorite moments below and if you want a Durdle Door engagement shoot, or any excuse to have photos at the beach please do get in touch! I’d love to hear from you!
