Theda and Ed first met in Bristol before enduring a 2-year long-distance relationship with Theda living in Brighton and Ed in Toulouse, France. When it became unbearable to be apart, Theda made the big move to Toulouse and ever since they have been loving their life together in the South West of France!
I knew that Theda, Ed and I would get on when they shared that they love to travel, cook, go for walks and hikes and explore. ALL things that I equally LOVE!
In fact, it was on a long cycle down the Canal du Midi when Ed proposed and asked Theda to be his wife! Of course, she said yes!!
With family traveling from around the world (even as far as Japan!) for their wedding, Theda and Ed are so excited to blend their cultures together and have a colorful celebration of African, Southeast Asian and British culture all together for one big party!
I cannot WAIT to see these two again when restrictions are lifted and they’re able to get married with all of their beloved family and friends. It’s going to be EPIC!
For now, enjoy a few of my favorite moments from their engagement shoot at The University of Oxford Botanic Garden only a few weeks before lockdown.
Ed attended the university and they both spent a lot of time in Oxford so it was the most fitting location for their engagement photos. Plus, I’m obsessed with tropical plants and flowers and I really enjoyed being creative with the small rooms and various corners of the gardens.
These photos make me so excited for the big day! It can’t come soon enough!!
If you’re engaged and want to document this special moment in time with an engagement shoot, I would love to hear from you. Please do send me a message here!
