Jess and James have two of the biggest hearts and that was made evident in the hundreds of guests who flew from all over the world and crowded into the small church of St. Michael & All Angels to witness their marriage. The love they had for their family and friends and vice versa, was a marker of their day. These two had a permanent smile on their faces which meant I had a permanent smile on my face too!!
Jess and James have time for everyone, including me just someone they hired to be their wedding photographer. But they didn’t treat me like a vendor they treated me like a friend and opened their home and their hearts to me and my second shooter Tom (who absolutely smashed this day by the way!).
One of my favorite things about this day (and there are many!) is the attention to detail Jess and James put into designing their wedding invites, orders of service and table numbers. They came up with the Penguin Books theme as both of them love books and the theme flowed so well throughout the day- just take a look at the cake James’ Aunty made! Also, the classic red London bus that took guests from the church to the reception. A nod to London, where they grew up, met and ultimately fell in love.
Gosh, I do love my job.
