Relaxed Bride and Groom Photos in Oundle, Northamptonshire
First I got an email from Meghan who found me on Instagram.
Then I found out Meghan is also AMERICAN!
Then I found out Meghan wanted to book a wedding photo shoot for her sister who was getting married in ENGLAND.
THEN I found out that her sister, Chelsea, goes to THE SAME GYM that I do! WHAT?!
Sometimes the world is so small and I absolutely LOVE it.
And so we started planning a photo shoot for Chelsea and her beau. Chelsea feels my pain with being an American living in England and having to work through the visa system. I was happy to keep dates flexible for her and Chris because they weren’t sure when they were actually getting married and when she would be in the country! It turned out the two of them had a lovely intimate wedding with family and friends in December and I met with them in Oundle a few weeks later where they got dressed up again for some beautiful, natural and relaxed bride and groom photos!
Oundle is where Chris grew up and I instantly fell in love with the cobbled streets and Cotswold-like stone buildings and the quaint small town feel. It felt like Oxford, but smaller!
We wandered the streets of Oundle and ran across crosswalks and found a beautiful church with white birch trees (which I LOVED). We then finished with photos in the park where Chelsea and Chris walked together often so was a special location for them. We popped champagne and pet curious doggies and overall had a really lovely time!
I’ve since seen Chelsea in the gym and we’ve stayed in touch! She may even borrow my Life in the UK study books when she has to take her exam! Haha!!
Huge thank you to Chelsea and Chris for being absolutely lovely to hang out with and photograph and to Meghan for crossing our paths! Chelsea and Chris, you both came with open minds and were so relaxed and down to earth. Thank you for everything!! Hope you enjoy looking through a few of my favorites from our time together…
