Meet Nicki and Michael. They are seriously stylish, undeniably cool and the best of friends. Take one look at them and it’s obvious their love for each other runs deeper than mere infatuation.
It was a typical work day when they first met. Nicki stood behind the front desk quietly going about her administrator tasks. Michael wandered into the theater as he did every day for work, but this time he laid eyes on Nicki and… let’s just say he walked past the front desk a lot more often after that. Those ordinary work days once met with mundanity, became days anticipated and met with excitement.
Through many walks in the park, coffee meet-ups, and dinner dates Nicki and Michael’s friendship deepened. It wasn’t long before they found themselves committing to spending the rest of their lives together.
These two are a no-brainer. They are genuine and kind and wear their hearts on their sleeves. It was a real joy to meet them in Stratford-upon-Avon for their engagement shoot- a place Nicki spent a great deal of time during her childhood and also where they planned to get married.
I am excited to say Nicki and Michael are now husband and wife! Only the other week, they exchanged vows at Nicki’s home church in Alcester where her parents faithfully served through the years. They then celebrated at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon with dinner, drinks, and dancing. You can imagine it was the perfect location for two people who met while working in a theater!
More on their wedding very soon… for now enjoy a few more of my favorites from their engagement session on a mild evening in Old Town, Stratford.
Yes… they have matching tattoos. I told you they were cool.
Believe it or not… all of these photos are straight! The architecture of Old Town, Stratford is notoriously wonky and these old doors actually open up to people’s homes. Thank you to whoever lives in this one!
After walking the streets of Old Town, we wandered down to the park by the River Avon for a few more photos and refreshing bubbly. We even had a view of Nicki and Michael’s wedding venue, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
